Each and every activity performed by Compañia Chilena de Fosforos S.A is conducted with great consciousness of environmental issues, amongst others using renewable resources generated by associated companies.

Furthermore we work with a program which ensures that seeding greatly exceeds the harvest of our forests resources. Finally, by emphasizing the modern technology incorporated into all our processes and most importantly, the quality of the products that we offer to our customers we achieve our goals.

Over the years, our groups' great concern and dedication to the environment has granted us a number of recognitions, as well as certifications from major environmental agencies around the world. As of July 2002, we are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), which acknowledges that our forests and other natural assets are always handled with rigorous concern for environmental, social and economic factors.

This acknowledgement reflects the organization's philosophy when it comes to handling its forests and natural resources, as well as within its ambition to always deliver a product of the highest standard, whilst at the same time working for a sustainable environment.
